DOCUMENTARY STYLE SPRING ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT THE BOTANICAL GARDENS
Caroline and Matt have been friends of my husband for years + they traveled up from southern Missouri for me to capture their engagement! Talking with them, they have never had photos taken professionally and barely any photos causally. So approaching their engagement, I wanted to find something that would allow them to casual and candid. Here in Missouri during the middle of March there is a 50/50 chance that we could have beautiful or very cold weather. So, we settled for the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis for two reasons-- 1. It is something that we could do so they could interact with one another as they would normally. It eliminated the stress of being in front of the camera and allow them to really soak in their moment together. 2. Things are in bloom. In the middle of March here things are starting to bloom but nothing is truly green and lively. The Botanical Gardens have a wide variety of early spring blooming bushes, plants, and greenhouses!
