INTIMATE FALL WEDDING | MEGAN + WYATT

This day will live rent free in my head-- it was so meaningful + intimate + so very Megan + Wyatt!

The Venue:

Megan's mother's property in Sullivan, Missouri. Filled with fields, turkeys, gardens + away from the noise.

The Day:

We started out the day by capturing the wedding details in the sunroom of her mothers home. When I arrived Megan was doing her hair and makeup (can we also take a min for how beautiful Megan's natural hair is?!). Megan had the sweetest details; her and Wyatt had matching socks, she wore Blundstones (which is so her), dried floral hair accessories, and pearl and gold wedding jewelry.

We then got Megan dressed in her dress from a Tennessee bridal boutique. Her mother steamed her veil and helped her get into her dress. The thing I love most about getting ready, is the intimate moments you share with those who help you!

Megan and Wyatt decided that they wanted to do a first look, so we settled on a first look down by the pond. They were both giggling and laughing and even shed some more tears. I like to hang back during first looks and let the couple soak it all in together and make it a truly meaningful moment. We went straight into bridal portraits with the two of them. They were so in love and made for some great photos.

The ceremony was toward dusk and we hid Megan away from her 15 guests while Wyatt mingled with them before getting settled into the ceremony location. Megan and Wyatt were getting married in front of a large oak tree on the property. They carved their initials into the tree and it made for a beautiful backdrop. They had thrifted all of the ceremony chairs and all of the vintage rugs lining the aisle.

After the ceremony we went into the family portraits and the reception. We ended the night with fireworks that her dad shot off and it was the most perfect way to end the night <3
