ST. LOUIS CLASSY TIMELESS CATHOLIC WEDDING AT ST. LOUIS MARRIOT GRAND HOTEL
CANDICE AND COLINS WEDDING WAS A LITERAL DREAM COME TRUE. FROM THEIR TEXAS STYLE WELCOME PARTY TO THE WEDDING DAY ITSELF, IT WAS A WEDDING TO DREAM OF.
COLIN IS FROM TEXAS AND CANDICE GREW UP IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA. THEY MET WHEN CANDICE'S FAITH BROUGHT HER TO TEXAS AND THEY MET THROUGH MUTAL FRIENDS. THEIR ENGAGMENT STORY IS SO UNBELIEVBLY CUTE! WHEN I ASKED CANDICE WHAT HER FAVORITE MEMORY WITH COLIN WAS SHE SAID --
"We've been on so many fun adventures together, but the trip where we got engaged is at the top of that list. Colin totally pulled a fast one on me and took me to Big Bend (not Colorado, where I was planning and prepared to go) and we had the BEST time exploring the park, making friends with some locals, and of course taking on the challenge to climb Emory Peak. We dodged a mountain lion, saw the most breathtaking sunrise near the top, and had the most fun the whole way up. I was doubly rewarded when Colin proposed at the top and now Big Bend will always be one of my favorite places!" - Candice Huffines
EVEN WITHOUT MEETING THESE TWO UNTIL THEIR WELCOME PARTY THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING, WE ALL THREE JUST CLICKED AND WERE ON THE SAME PAGE. THEY BOTH FELT LIKE OLD FRIENDS TO ME- IT MADE THE WEDDING DAY 10000% BETTER.
GETTING READY:
CANDICE AND HER GIRLS STARTED TO GET READY AT THE ST. LOUIS MARRIOT GRAND HOTEL. THE WEATHER WAS LOOKING A LITTLE SCARY BUT CANDICE WAS JOYUS AND HAPPY DESPITE GOD UNLEASHING SOME NASTY RAINFALL RIGHT BEFORE THEY HAD TO LEAVE FOR THE SHRINE.
WE TOOK SOME GETTING READY PICTURES WITH HER SISTER AND HER GIRLS AT THE HOTEL. THEN WE MOVED THE SHRINE OF ST. JOESEPH FOR THE FINAL GETTING READY PICTURES.
CANDICE'S DRESS IS FROM MORILEE + HER BRIDESMAID DRESSES ARE FROM AZAZIE
WE MET COLIN AT THE SHRINE TO GET HIS GETTING READY PICTURES. HE WAS SPORTING A WHITE COAT AND SOME AWESOME DUCK BOWTIES, WHICH WERE SO COOL IN MY OPINION. COLIN IS AN AVID DUCK HUNTER SO IT MADE SENSE!
CEREMONY:
CANDICE + COLIN'S WEDDING WAS VERY CENTERED AROUND THEIR CEREMONY- IT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THEIR DAY. THEY HAD A FULL CATHOLIC CEREMONY (I WOULD GO INTO DETAILS, BUT I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABBOUT LOL)

PORTRAITS:
Of course it was pouring rain throughout the most of the day, so we had to rush to get everything figured out and shot as quickly as we could! We took their bridal party photos in the front courtyard of the church and went to Forest Park to take their Bridal Portraits!
Reception:
We headed back to the Mariott St. Louis Grand Hotel for their reception. OMG, this reception space was nothing but stunning! From the food to the first dances, to the spectacular sparkler exit --- I was in love with the Huffines <3
